Right Learning, Right Time: Designing Adaptive & Just-in-Time Learning Experiences

with Matt Fulmer

In today’s fast-paced workplaces, learners need more than generic courses—they need relevant, personalized experiences delivered precisely when they can use them.

This COP will explore how adaptive learning systems and just-in-time resources can transform training from static, one-size-fits-all modules into dynamic, learner-driven experiences. We’ll examine the principles of tailoring content to each individual’s performance, role, and goals, as well as how to leverage data to guide learners toward the resources they need, exactly when they need them.

Through real-world examples and practical frameworks, you’ll learn how to design adaptable pathways, integrate microlearning into workflows, and create performance support tools that boost both retention and application.

Whether you’re building for corporate training, higher education, or specialized skill development, you’ll walk away with strategies to ensure your learners spend less time sifting through irrelevant material and more time applying knowledge where it matters most.
