Join us for an engaging Instructional Design Community of Practice session on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) where we explore the principles and practices of creating inclusive learning environments. Discover how UDL promotes accessibility, flexibility, and equity by accommodating diverse learner needs. We'll explore the challenges and triumphs of implementing UDL in instructional design, encouraging shared insights and strategies for overcoming obstacles. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or new to the concept, this webinar promises to deepen your understanding of UDL and inspire collaborative problem-solving. Don't miss out on this opportunity to enhance your approach to learning. Register now and be part of the conversation!

We will have opportunities to learn, network, and collaborate with fellow attendees and ATD Austin members.

I'm looking forward to a fun and dynamic session!

About Your Facilitator:

Kyle Wallace is Senior Instructional Design Manager at TASBO, working to develop online and hybrid course content and provide educational technology support for online learners. He graduated from UT-Austin and is currently pursing his Master's degree in Instructional Design from Texas Tech University. His background and experience has been in marketing, SaaS, and advertising but he is now combining those skills with his instructional design training to enhance learning experience. In his spare time, he created a non-profit dedicated to closing education and food inequities with focus on bridging the special education gaps in Texas schools.

Outside of work, you can usually find Kyle copying the best bakes from the Great British Bake-off, building a chatbot for some random automation, or in the fall, you can always find him at DKR being loud and staying late. Hook'em!

The ATD Austin Chapter has been pre-approved by the ATD Certification Institute to offer educational programs that can be used towards initial eligibility and recertification of the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) credentials. This program qualifies for a maximum of 1 point.
