Event Details:

The best approach to disruptive behavior is to prevent it in the first place.

In this Training Delivery & Facilitation Community of Practice session, we will examine techniques to handle these situations in ILT and VILT events.

If you are interested in participating, let's make this the best hour of your day by sharing insights, resources, proven tactics, and encouragement to your fellow talent development professionals. Come prepared to share what's worked for you and what you'd like improvement on.

This session highlights the TD Capability Model, focusing on skills related to developing your professional capability in Training Delivery & Facilitation.

About Your Host:

Michael Montaño

Michael has over thirteen years of experience in the banking industry with the last seven focused on training delivery/facilitation, designing, developing, and implementing successful learning and development initiatives that align with business strategies.

He currently works as a Manager of Learning and Development for Austin Capital Bank and is currently working toward his CPTD through the study group provided through this chapter. He is also a Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM).

Born and mostly raised in New Mexico, Michael (or commonly known as just Mike) enjoys spending most of his time outdoors. Using the weather Austin has a to offer (except this summer...it's too hot!), you can find him on his mountain bike at Brushy Creek, playing soccer at Zilker Park, paddle boarding on Town Lake or hanging out at the dog park with his three pups!
