Program Description:

Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) refers to the synchronous (at the same time) delivery of live training in an online classroom environment. Giving you the cost-saving benefits of eLearning, this important learning channel offers new opportunities for you and your organization.

VILT can have an amazing impact when done right -- or it can be deadly dull in the wrong hands. Defining your virtual teaching style, meticulously planning your sessions, and practicing various delivery techniques are some of the critical pieces to your success as a virtual facilitator.

In this thought-provoking session, we will explore many of the methods and tools available to virtual facilitators today that can be easily implemented into your "virtual tool kit."

Attend this session and learn:

  • How the traditional and virtual classrooms are the same but different
  • Creative approaches to establish connections with your participants
  • Strategies to increase participation in your learning sessions
  • What not to do when facilitating a virtual learning session

Workshop to follow: "Pimp My Virtual Class!"

This luncheon will be followed by a 2-hour interactive workshop focused on techniques for taking your virtual training to the next level.

Registration for the luncheon and the workshop are separate. Click HERE to learn more about the workshop.
