About our speaker:    

 Nick Vega was fortunate to obtain his first management position at the age of 18 with Rudy's Country Store & BBQ. As a business that recently achieved the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, he was groomed early in the positive effects that a strong sense of culture has on a company. After 3.5 years of service he moved on to Freebirds World Burrito where he became the General Manager and assisted in the expansion of the concept.

Six years ago, the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema found Nick. Over the course of his Alamo career, he has occupied roles from Kitchen Manager, General Manager to Sr. Operations Manager and Director of Training. He led the opening of 12 venues employing an average of 150 employees and is currently responsible for 3500 employees, 140 million in income and have five new venues under construction.
