About the Speaker

Leah was a General Manager with a successful career in the Health and Fitness industry when she realized that adult learning and development were her true passions. With an M.Ed in Counseling and years of staff development experience, she ventured into the world of corporate training. Leah has worked with chef-owned restaurants, metropolitan museums and fitness facilities. When she made the move to Austin, she immediately connected with Austin ASTD to be part of the Austin learning and development community.

Leah Carrubba is currently a Senior Trainer at OneWest Bank and the Vice President of Public Relations for the Austin ASTD Board.
