Program Description:
Many professionals realize that their “sure thing” could evaporate overnight because jobs and headcount are so sensitive to business changes. Smart professionals are planning for change and growing each year, so that they are ready to transition when change inevitably comes. Catherine Jewell, a Career Coach and freelance corporate trainer, will provide a program to help you creatively envision your next career move. She will present several real-life case studies of training professionals moving into, up, or out of the profession. The good news: you can grow and thrive, too, with some careful planning and attention to your own career development. You may want to bring a current resume, so you can easily access your own work history details.
The overall learning approach will be short lectures, followed by table discussions or pair-share. Each participant will have a workbook to capture their own information and complete questions and surveys to provide a personalized road map for Career Planning. By attending "Driving Your Training Career," participants will learn:
