Program Description:

Dell was faced with the challenge of designing a mobile app to provide training to over 400,000 retail sales agents across the globe.

In addition to quickly learning new tools and technologies, the design team had to overcome the process red tape that is inevitable in a large corporate environment when planning, designing, and implementing a major new initiative.

Join us for lunch and learn about the key challenges -- and lessons learned -- during Dell's initial mobile learning project, as well as what they have planned for mLearning in the future.

This session covers the following topics:

  • Real-life examples of mobile learning
  • Tips for creating an effective learning experience on a small-screen device
  • Best practices for managing a mobile learning project in a corporate environment

Workplace Learning & Performance Competencies:

  • Designing Learning
