Brain Rules: 12 Principles for Surviving and Thriving at Work, Home, and School  by John Medina

The human brain is easily the most sophisticated information-transfer system on earth.  It is capable of deriving meaning from the words you see on a page or the sounds that you hear.  To accomplish this miracle, your brain sends jolts of electricity crackling through hundreds of miles of wires composed of brain cells so small that thousands of them could fit into the period at the end of this sentence.

12 rules to help boost your brain’s health, and understand how it works most effectively.

Learn why multitasking is a lie…

This popular book was reviewed in 2009. It is quite valuable for trainers and instructional designers focusing on how the brain works and ways to leverage that.
