Creating a Culture of Engagement
Speaker: Alicia Terry

How much time, effort, and expertise will employees give to a job and employer they like as opposed to a job and employer they dislike?  Do you believe it would be the same? The likely answer is that it would be different. As interesting as it sounds, every paid employee is a volunteer employee when it comes to their level of engagement. Employees are the ones who decide how much of themselves they are willing to give to a job.  When given the opportunity to capitalize on their strengths and work in an environment of trust and transparency, employees volunteer their best work. As learning and development professionals, what role can we play to improve employee engagement at both the employer and employee levels? In this session we’ll explore this question and learn ways we can help create a culture of engagement.

On September 27, please join us for Creating a Culture of Engagement.  There will be registration and networking from 6:30 pm to 7 pm.  The presentation will begin at 7 pm and end at 8 pm.
