Learning Technologies SIG: Going Mobile: Building a Phone App from a Google Sheet

Every spreadsheet is an amazing mobile application waiting to happen, no programming required! Imagine a community of learners connected through your mobile application sharing and discussing courses with each other. Do you podcast? Give your listeners an app where they can access episodes, leave comments, and even connect with each other. Or, build an application where you can connect with SMEs to make assignments and track progress toward course development. If you can build it in a Google Sheet, you can convert it to a mobile application. Bring your laptop and your cell phone to learn how, starting with a simple resume/portfolio application.

Users will need: 1) Internet connected laptop or PC with a web browser to access glideapps.com 2) A Google account so they can access and open Google Sheets 3) Smartphone (optional)
