Take this Job and Love It!

How to Benefit and Grow from a Job You Don't Want

with Kara Bell

Much is made in our culture about doing work you love, but we often forget that you need a variety of experiences to learn what makes you happy. It's a rare person who find career passion at a young age and then does it their entire life.

So what do you do if finding your bliss has to wait while you are surviving and feeding your family? There are positives that can come from working a job you took just because you needed it. Kara Bell, a now-accomplished Administrative Professional, was in that "survival" mode when she began her job three years ago. She's honed some skills she didn't think she had, and actually enjoyed a job she thought was wrong for her.

This interactive session will help you see the "gifts" available in your current job, or even in former jobs you hated. Kara explains how a small shift in attitude can yield big results in confidence, professionalism and even happiness.

Our fascinating session will cover:

  •  Embracing your weaknesses, and creating work-arounds
  •  Handling stress in the daily grind
  •  How to get organized, even if you are disorganized
  •  Learning what the job has to teach you
