Networking for Introverts

with Melissa Victor Totah

Does “networking” sound like a dirty word to you?  Does the idea of interacting with people you hardly know make your skin crawl?  To be successful in the job search, you already know that networking is essential.  But if you are finding it particularly difficult to get out there and make the necessary connections, you may have an introverted personality.  Although networking as an introvert can sometimes feel unnatural, it does not have to be a problem.

In this session, we’ll be focusing on the special challenges faced by introverts in the job search process, strategies for dealing with these challenges, and methods of capitalizing on your hidden strengths.  Both introverts and extroverts are welcome!
